Meet Ivey, the Miami-based founder and CEO behind Living with Ivey—a lifestyle brand dedicated to making healthy living approachable and aspirational. Known for her honest, transparent, and kind approach, she’s on a mission to help people swap out toxic products and embrace wellness without compromise. In just two years, she’s opened four brick-and-mortar stores, launched her proprietary product line, and introduced her hero product: IVEY Glow, an active body oil packed with clean, skin-loving ingredients. Passionate about balance over extremes, her philosophy centers on listening to your body, nourishing with whole foods, and embracing self-care without guilt. Whether she’s sharing safer beauty swaps, developing non-toxic formulas, or inspiring her community with real talk, she’s redefining what modern wellness looks like—one thoughtful choice at a time.

Professional title and/or how you’d describe your career:
CEO/Founder - My ethos revolves around helping people. Whether its healthier versions of their favorite recipes or safer versions of their favorite personal care products, I really work to help people on their own journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
Do you have a health/wellness philosophy you live by?
After years of demonizing foods and a cycle of punishing myself with grueling workouts and restrictive eating, I think I’ve finally gotten to a place where treating my body with love and compassion and focusing more on all that my body does for me rather than its appearance, has just made everything fall into place. Viewing food and exercise as fuel and enjoyment instead of “good” and “bad” has created such peace and balance and the icing on the cake is looking and feeling my best.
What inspired you to pursue your current line of work?
I knew I had something of value to share: my knowledge and my research. And I wanted to use it to make a difference. Even if I teach someone one small thing or share a product that can replace a toxic one and it helps them make an impactful change to their lifestyle, I’ve succeeded.
What do you love most about what you do?
The relationships I build with my customers and the reward of helping someone.
What are a few wellness tips/routines you’d like to share
The biggest is LISTEN to your body. Listen to how certain foods make you feel, how certain people’s energies make you feel, how certain exercises make you feel and eliminate what doesn’t make you feel good. Someone once told me that no matter the type of relationship, if it isn’t nourishing you whether that’s intellectually, emotionally or physically, get out of it. And listening to what your body needs, rest when your body tells you and abandon the guilt around it. Rest and quality sleep is so necessary even at a cellular level.
Choosing foods (including drinks, powders, electrolyte powders, protein powders) that are in their most natural whole form or closest to it/minimally processed. I’m a firm believer that most anything can be fixed by diet. ex: Conditions like arthritis can be improved through eating antiinflammatory foods and cutting our inflammatory processed foods. Acne and other skin conditions can be improved by cutting out refined or artificial sugars and conventionally dairy.
Advice to a younger version of yourself?
Embrace failure and don’t think that just because someone else is doing it or it’s the social norm that you have to do it too. Also, things are never as big of a deal as you think they are!
Describe a perfect weekend day for you:
An early morning pilates class, a walk with the dog in our neighborhood in Miami and a day with the kids at the beach. And grilling out for dinner while the kids play in the pool. That sounds pretty perfect.
CURRENT Obsession?
My first launch of my product line named IVEY. It’s an active body oil called Glow and its a product of years of research and development ensuring a clean nontoxic product that is also effective (contains 3% oil soluble vitamin c THD to help fade pigmentation and soften fine lines and wrinkles. It took years to develop because I really wanted to create the best body oil or I wasn't going to do it! Early fall, I launch my signature fragrance which I would say I’m equally obsessed with.
