A LOOK BACK: EFFORTLESS ELEGANCE IN EAST HAMPTON

In late July, City Country Beach  joined Balmain and Bloomingdale’s to host VIPs at a private shopping experience at an elegant estate in East Hampton — for good. The event was held in support of the Couture Council’s upcoming Award for Artistry Luncheon - one of NYC’s most coveted events among socials, philanthropists and tastemakers alike. 

Guests of the East Hampton event including Monique Rodriguez, Erin Pollard, Alison Dally, Claudia Roth, and Charlotte Bickley mixed, mingled and explored Balmain’s Pre-Fall 2025 Collection offering seasonal must-haves such as playful knit sets in soft hues, bold signature tweeds, and fashion-forward leather items. Highlights from the collection included a leather and lace look as worn by tastemaker Irina Kro Eicke, and a tweed mini dress with chain and pearl details as seen on chicster Elizabeth Kurpis.

Proceeds from the upcoming September luncheon and recent July event benefit The Museum at FIT —  the only museum in New York dedicated exclusively to the art of fashion. Bloomingdale's will serve as the presenting sponsor of the luncheon which will honor Olivier Rousteing, Creative Director for the house of Balmain. These events make way for New York Fashion Week and set the pace for a whirlwind of presentations, parties and more — an annual shift from summer’s relaxed vibe, and a return to business as usual for fashion’s insiders.

Join Balmain on Aug 13 at a Hamptons coastal retreat where guests of City Country Beach will soak up the final moments of summer in style. Shop-for-a-cause in an oceanfront modern manse in Bridgehampton while sipping champagne and explore Balmain’s most coveted items of the season, a la plage. 

The daytime event will benefit Southampton Arts Center - an East End organization offering residents classes, art exhibitions, and live performances designed for children and adults alike.

Guests are invited to meander through the modern manse, home to an international art enthusiast and her family. 

Gaze at an unparalleled collection of works by notable painters and sculptors throughout the sprawling property described in Architectural Digest as “earthy and elegant with plenty of barefoot breeziness.” 

Explore limited-edition pieces and classic wardrobe essentials while savoring sushi prepared by an on-site omakase chef and listen to poolside tunes spun by a DJ.
