For its FW25 collection, Max Mara dreams of a tempestuous love as powerful as the elemental landscape of Wuthering Heights. The main character in this season’s storyline is the Untamed Heroine – a determined, dynamic woman who is fearless and forges her own path, reaching her goals along the way. Her mood, mindset and wardrobe calls for what the brand has dubbed as the “new romantic style” – which blends traditional gothic tones and dark, romantic elements with modern, minimalist aesthetics to create a luxe look that is equal parts dramatic and sleek. Dramatic maxi skirts, oversized sweaters, tailored trousers with exaggerated hemlines and cinched waistlines take center stage this season, defining a new era of style that romantic and unapologetically elegant.

Max Mara’s New Romantic Style blends traditional gothic tones and dark, romantic elements with contemporary, minimalist aesthetics to create a luxe look that is equal parts dramatic and sleek.

Highlights from the FW25 show include coats cinched at waist and full at the hem, complete with functional details such as detachable quilted linings and sleeves in contrasting fabrics. Dramatic silhouettes meet detailed craftsmanship that will take you from the city to the country with ease.
